Zebby's Pals is a non-profit website created specifically to raise awareness of the rare disease Gauchers Types II and III. My daughter Zebby was 17 months when she passed away on Feb 1st, 2011.  Gaucher's Type II (aka Acute Neuronopathic Gaucher Disease) effects many things in the body. It causes neurological problems such as seizures. Tracheomalacia, acid reflux, enlargement of the spleen and liver are all symptoms of NGD. In most cases children with Type II do not make it passed the age of 2. |
